Canadian Lakes has two pools. An indoor pool is located in the Royal Clubhouse and is open year round. A lazy L-shaped outdoor pool is located in the Pines Park next to the CLPOC Office and Pavilion.

Indoor Pool

The indoor pool facility at the Royal Clubhouse offers a dry sauna, hot tub, fitness center, lounging space, and locker rooms with showers. This pool is a 34,000 gallon pool. The shallow end is great for young swimmers and is roped off from the deep end. The shallow end of the pool (3ft deep) has gradual steps for entry, while the deep end (6ft deep) has two ladders and a water slide for accomplished swimmers. Diving is not allowed. All children and non-swimmers must be supervised by a responsible adult. There is no lifeguard on duty. There is a deck in the pool area with lounge chairs. You are welcome to bring your own small water toys. Fifty people can be accommodated in the pool and deck area at any one time.

The indoor pool hosts special activities on weekday mornings. During these times the pool is only available to participants in the activity. All are welcome to join the activities. Open swimming starts at noon on weekdays.

Lap Swimming

Monday through Friday: 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.

Water Walkers

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.

Monday and Thursday: 8:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.

Outdoor Pool

The outdoor pool is heated and located in the Pines Park near the CLPOC Office. The Pavilion, a picnic area, and playground are adjacent to the outdoor pool. It is a 51,000 gallon pool that offers a shallow area (3ft deep) with two stair step entries and a deep area (8ft deep) with a slide (at 5' deep). The shallow end is great for young swimmers and is roped off from the slide and deep end. Diving is not allowed. All children and non-swimmers must be supervised by a responsible adult. There is no lifeguard on duty. There are tables with umbrellas and lounging furniture on the deck. Restrooms with showers are available. It can accommodate 75 people in the pool and deck area at any one time. The outdoor pool is open from the Friday before Memorial Day through Labor Day.
