Playgrounds

Pines Park Playground: located near the outdoor pool and pavilion in the Pines Park.

This extensive playground has swings, glider swings, and a free-standing slide, in addition to two small playscapes. The playscapes include swings, slides, and tree-houses with ladders. This playground is located in a grassy area suitable for supervised toddlers and children. There is unfenced lakeshore nearby. Bathrooms are located in the outdoor pool or in the CLPOC office.

Highland Haus Playground: located next to the Highland Haus.

This playscape includes swings, a tree-house with ladder, rope climber, and a slide. It is located in a large sandy area. Your sand toys make this area suitable for toddlers as well as young children. There are benches near the playscape and outdoor tables and chairs on the nearby deck of the Highland Haus.

Campground Playgrounds: the campground has three playgrounds scattered throughout.

There is a mix of swings, slides, and playscapes at these grassy playgrounds. One of the playgrounds is near the campground pavilion. At this site, there are two playscapes along with nearby bathrooms. A third playground with swings and slide is located near the South Bathhouse, and a fourth playground with swings is located at the east end of the pond. There are horseshoe pits in the campground.
